LBP Compliance is a South African compliance practice providing FICA, AML and FIC regulatory services, including assistance with the 2026 Risk and Compliance Return (RCR). For the purposes of POPIA, LBP Compliance is the responsible party for the personal information collected through this website.

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

• Contact details — your name, email address, business name and telephone number when you complete the RCR worksheet, book a session, or contact us.
• RCR worksheet data — the answers you enter into the Risk and Compliance Return worksheet, including information about your business, its clients, transactions and compliance controls.
• Booking information — the details you provide when requesting a consultation with our team.
• Technical data — basic, non-identifying information such as browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site working and secure.

3. Why we collect it and our lawful basis

We process your personal information to:

• Provide the RCR worksheet and save your progress so you can return to it;
• Generate a downloadable copy of your completed worksheet;
• Arrange and conduct consultations you request with our compliance team;
• Respond to your enquiries and provide the services you ask for;
• Comply with our own legal and regulatory obligations.

Our lawful basis under POPIA is principally the performance of a service you have requested, your consent (which you may withdraw), and compliance with our legal obligations.

4. The worksheet is a preparation tool

The RCR worksheet is a data-collection and preparation aid. It does not submit any return to the Financial Intelligence Centre. The FIC accepts RCR submissions only through its goAML platform, and you remain responsible for submitting your own return. Completing the worksheet does not create a legal or professional relationship unless you separately engage us for a consultation.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it only:

• With members of our own team and the compliance specialists who assist with your enquiry;
• With trusted service providers who host our systems on our behalf (acting as operators under POPIA, bound to protect your information);
• Where we are required to do so by law or a competent authority.

6. Where your information is stored

We use reputable third-party infrastructure to host this website and store worksheet data securely. Where any processing or storage takes place outside South Africa, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information receives a level of protection consistent with POPIA.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our services to you and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised. You may ask us to delete your worksheet data at any time.

8. How we protect it

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to safeguard your information against loss, unauthorised access, and misuse, including secure storage, access controls and encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we take our obligations seriously.

9. Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you;
• Request correction or deletion of your information;
• Object to processing in certain circumstances;
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.

10. Cookies

We use only the cookies and local storage necessary to operate the site and save your worksheet progress. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
